I think that if I were a science teacher, I would insert random "facts" that are completely wrong, just so it would be ingrained in them forever as pure, science teachery fact.

"Well since water is polar, when you get into a bath or something it sucks the water out of your pores. That's why your skin feels dry a lot of the time after cleaning yourself."

you know the funny thing is that this is actually true! the polarity of water also is the reason that dogs chase cats and why old people smell bad... ahh the amazing world of chemistry
