Ever notice how however many facebook friends you have seems to be exactly the proper number? And more seems obscene and fewer seems paltry?
I've read like 3 articles lately about the middle-aged facebook trend (which I think is just lovely) and they've all said something along the lines of "who really has more than 75/150/230 friends?"
I know every person I'm friends with THANKS very much. Though know may be a loose term.

funny you mention that i was just going through my 455 friends and i didnt recognize a single person for 3 straight pages...
i just add people as friends to boost my self confidence as sort of a coping mechanism. like on the weekends when i dont get invited to hang out, i just think to myself "well at least 455 random people said they would be my friend... if only i knew who the hell they were"
